So we have some plans – nice but a little boring for some presentation purpose. With some Photoshop treatment, they can be better – some nice shadows and colours added to the original lines and hatches and Voila!
Here is a new residential project by David Long Architects. This time we have a traditional English family house to convert something much more interesting.
Some new pictures which are made quite fast – they were made to illustrate a family house concept for a new client. We succeeded so some more to come later. Design by David Long.

It is quite comfortable to push new things on a blog BUT some nice stuff sink easily in time… So there are some images worth to check.
Enjoy them!
This post will be available in the menu and some more to come so check back soon… 🙂
A new family house in Chigwell, the UK designed by David Long. Model and renders were made by me.
The 15th district of Budapest organised a national competition for ideas renovating the central area of the district. The main goal was to design a new public area made by the excellent garden designer team of Pagony. The second task was to design a Cultural Centre which integrates to the new area. This building was designed and visualised by me.
Our entry won second prize on the competition out of 65 works.
A renovation of an old industry building – ‘basketworks’. Design is by David Long Architects. My part was to model the building based on the elevations supported by the architects.
Modelling was made by Archicad as it has very good capabilities of exact measuring. As the geometry was quite complicated the model was built elevation by elevation and later they were put together to form the final model.
Some clay render was made to check the model by me. After some corrections the final render was made by Zsolt Balogh.
Accidentally we design two family houses in Szentendre at the same time… This one is quite close to the first one in the same nice green area of Szentendre. (Ten years ago there were only weekend houses here…) A different design which goes back to the 30’s.

Family house in Szentendre’s green area. (Szentendre is a charming little town close to Budapest.) The lower level is a renovation of a weekend house built in the seventies which now used for a relax area, the newly built upper level is the living space.
