Chocolate shop in London

Images, Interior

We all like chocolate… I don’t know if it makes to model a chocolate shop better but it was fun to work on this small project.

Braun SK2 Radio

Images, Interior

I was looking for some classical designs – cool enough to make nice models of them. Finally I ended up with Braun’s electronic products. There are several very nice designs made by Dieter Rams. (They inspired among others several products of Apple.) One of them is this radio Braun SK2 designed in 1955.

Weekend house interior

Blender, Featured, Housing, Images

This one was an old design of mine – OK, together with some really talented colleges from MM Works architect studio – with some hope that one day it may be realized in real life.

It’s always a good feeling to know that is your work is respected some ways. Even better if your creation is selected for a good old style paper made book. The     CGCookie.com made this really awesome book selecting many stunning images made with  Blender– and yes my work was also selected. Thanks for that! And the book is really worth checking – many inspiring works in there!

Do you have an old, dark, shabby storage located in the city? You can keep it as it is and can store your old tennis shoes and broken furniture there…

Family villa interior

Making some renders as a private project. The house itself was ready – you can find it on the blog – and I used it for playing with new render engine Cycles. It worked quite well – reached more than 7000 visits on Blenderartist forum and was chosen for the ‘Forum Gallery’ and for ‘Render of the Week‘ by BlenderNews. I hope you’ll like it too… 🙂

It is quite comfortable to push new things on a blog BUT some nice stuff sink easily in time… So there are some images worth to check.
Enjoy them!
This post will be available in the menu and some more to come so check back soon… 🙂

Some years ago I worked on a  very nice family villa on the calm hilly Buda side of the city designed by Miklós Miltényi and Emese Virt.

EU information point in Budapest

Featured, Houses

The European Union decided to build ‘Information Points’ in the capitols of EU countries to help people to get information easier about the EU. Also some cultural events as concerts, exhibitions and lectures take place here. The first of this kind of Information Points were made in Budapest.

Our goal was to create a friendly – not businesslike – place where people can have a coffee and can read some useful information about the EU or one of the newspapers of a few European countries.

The main counter which serves the information and the café as well was made of prefabricated concrete. Some traditional elements were used as modernized pieces of old furniture – bench and table – and cement tiles which has 100 years of tradition alongside iconic modern furniture.

Next to the stairs an exciting Hungarian invention was used – a partition wall made of translucent concrete showing the contours of the visitors climbing the stairs.

Our work was published in leading Hungarian architecture magazines as Octogon and Atrium.
