Another Family Villa in Budapest

Blender, Featured, Images

Oh yes there are several new family villas in Budapest… (Mostly on the hilly Buda side.) And many of them are really nice – especially if Miklós Miltényi and/or Katalin Iványi is involved in the design. And yes I do some visuals so the clients also can see that their house will be really cool.

A not so architectural project

A nice new portable and openable pavilion design for the world famous People Speak… Based on the original plans of Ottó Szabó – some fine-tuning, modelling and rendering was made by me.

Pimp my Plan

So we have some plans – nice but a little boring for some presentation purpose. With some Photoshop treatment, they can be better – some nice shadows and colours added to the original lines and hatches and Voila!

Family villa interior

Making some renders as a private project. The house itself was ready – you can find it on the blog – and I used it for playing with new render engine Cycles. It worked quite well – reached more than 7000 visits on Blenderartist forum and was chosen for the ‘Forum Gallery’ and for ‘Render of the Week‘ by BlenderNews. I hope you’ll like it too… 🙂

Here is a new residential project by David Long Architects. This time we have a traditional English family house to convert something much more interesting.

Some new pictures which are made quite fast – they were made to illustrate a family house concept for a new client. We succeeded so some more to come later. Design by David Long.

It is quite comfortable to push new things on a blog BUT some nice stuff sink easily in time… So there are some images worth to check.
Enjoy them!
This post will be available in the menu and some more to come so check back soon… 🙂

Some years ago I worked on a  very nice family villa on the calm hilly Buda side of the city designed by Miklós Miltényi and Emese Virt.

New Cultural Centre in Budapest

Featured, Images

The 15th district of Budapest organised a national competition for ideas renovating the central area of the district. The main goal was to design a new public area made by the excellent garden designer team of Pagony. The second task was to design a Cultural Centre which integrates to the new area.  This building was designed and visualised by me.

Our entry won second prize on the competition out of 65 works.

Some modelling stuff

Blender, Images

A renovation of an old industry building – ‘basketworks’. Design is by David Long Architects. My part was to model the building based on the elevations supported by the architects.

Modelling was made by Archicad as it has very good capabilities of exact measuring. As the geometry was quite complicated the model was built elevation by elevation and later they were put together to form the final model.
Some clay render was made to check the model by me. After some corrections the final render was made by Zsolt Balogh.
